2017-2018: ALL-BIG WEST HONORABLE MENTION SINGLES… ITA ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM... BIG WEST CONFERENCE ALL-ACADMEMIC... Finished her final season with a 17-10 overall, 12-6 dual, 5-4 tournament, and 4-1 conference singles record… Tied with teammate Nikita Pradeep with most overall singles wins at 17… In the dual season, saw four sets of three in-a-row match wins… Posted her highest mark of 8-4 at No. 3 singles… For the tournament portion of the season, advanced to the consolation finals at the Saint Mary’s Fall Invitational on Oct. 8… Went 15-12 overall and 11-8 in dual for doubles play… Led the team alongside Kristina Breisacher in most doubles wins during the dual portion of the season with 11 total… Advanced to the Gold Flight consolation finals at the Cal Nike Fall Invitational.
2016-17: ITA ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM... Ended her junior season with a 12-20 overall, 8-14 dual, 4-6 tournament and 2-5 conference singles record... Seven of her 12 dual victories took place at No. 2... Additionally, played one match at the No. 1 position and four at No. 3... On February 10, defeated her opponent at Chaminade in straight sets without allowing a single point against her... Finished 5-7 overall, 4-1 dual, 1-6 tournament and 3-0 conference in doubles... Played every doubles dual at the No. 2 position... With partner Kristina Breisacher, won four out of their last five matches together, including going undefeated in Big West play over UC Irvine (4/02), Long Beach State (4/07), and UC Riverside (4/22)... Her first doubles win of the season came with Nikita Pradeep in an 8-5 victory over Sacramento State at the ITA Norwest Regionals Championships... also played a match each with Isabella von Ebbe and Kamila Kecki.
2015-16: ALL-BIG WEST CONFERENCE DOUBLES HONORABLE MENTION... ALL-BIG WEST CONFERENCE SINGLES HONORABLE MENTION... BIG WEST CONFERENCE PLAYER OF THE WEEK (2/10)... ITA ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM... Ended her sophomore season with a 15-16 overall, 9-12 dual and 3-5 singles record... No Aggie won more singles matches this season... Six of her nine singles dual victories took place at No. 1... The other three singles victories were earned at No. 2... No player won more singles matches during tournament play... Posted doubles records of 13-13 overall, 9-10 in duals and 3-5 in Big West matches... Her four doubles wins in fall action are a team-high total... She and teammate Jessie Lee won a consolation doubles championship at the Cal Fall Invitational... Green and Lee won a team-high seven overall doubles matches... Green and Samantha Martino split their two doubles matches; she and Kristy Jorgensen won three; both overall doubles matches played with Kamila Kecki ended with a win... In dual action, Green posted doubles records of 2-5, 3-3 and 4-2 at No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3... Won all four matches played throughout the Aggies' San Diego road trip (2/6 at San Diego State and 2/7 at UC San Diego) to collect the league's weekly award for the second time in her career... Green won the last POW award when the league announced its winner on Jan. 28 of her freshman season.
2014-15: BIG WEST CONFERENCE PLAYER OF THE WEEK (1/28)... ITA ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM... Posted an 11-19 overall singles record and 8-14 mark in dual matches... Finished 9-15 overall and 7-10 in doubles dual competition... Half of her dual wins took place at position No. 3... Three of her other four took place at No. 4... One win was collected at No. 2... Entered her inaugural appearance at the conference's year-end tournament with singles victories in five of her last seven matches... Collected all seven doubles triumphs alongside Tiffany Pham... Green and Pham won three matches at No. 2 and both played at No. 3... The pair ended the season with doubles victories in five of their last seven matches... Won four doubles matches in a row entering the Aggies' quarterfinal matchup against UCSB at the Big West Women's Tennis Championships... Won her first-ever singles match as an Aggie in three sets, at Portland State (1/24)... That contest featured two tiebreakers before Green pulled away in the third set... Also recorded her first individual sweep that day against the Vikings...
By collecting her first singles and doubles victory as an Aggie, and finishing her weekend in Oregon (also played at Portland on 1/25) with an undefeated singles record, Green was named Big West Women's Tennis Player of the Week as announced by the conference office on Jan. 28... Swept, and shutout UC Riverside's Caroline Hall to collect her first Big West singles win.
WAIMEA HS '14: Earned three varsity girls' tennis, four cross country, two track & field, and two swimming letters... Kauai Interscholastic Federation All-Star in girls' tennis and cross country... Represented WHS as one of its top-five cross country runners all five seasons... Team captain of both the swim and tennis teams senior year... Qualified for the state championships in three of her four sports; tennis, cross country, and track and field... Scholastic National Merit qualifier in 2012... Elected president of her school's National Honor Society.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Yuka and Jerry Green... Wildlife, fish & conservation biology major... Career sports highlight includes winning the G16 singles regional in Fort Collins, Colorado... If she could choose another sport to play at UC Davis, she would join the swimming and diving team... Chose to attend UC Davis because of the beautiful campus, excellent academics and amazing tennis team... Enjoys watching the Harry Potter movies... Plans to earn a PhD in wildlife biology and travel the world while studying/conducting research.
