WAIKOLOA, Hawaii - Senior Ben Corfee shot a 4-under-par 32 over the back nine holes then added an eagle 3 on the 513-yard fourth hole en route to a team-best 3-under 69 in Saturday's final round of the Amer Ari Intercollegiate men's golf tournament at the Kings' Course of Waikoloa Beach Resort.
As a team, UC Davis shot a 5-over 293 in the third round to finish with a 54-hole total of 875, finishing 16th in the tough 21-team field. Corfee opened his Saturday with a birdie on the 11th, then proceeded to tally red marks on the 14th, 17th and 18th. His eagle on the Hole 4 brought him to as low as 6-under for the day. Freshman

Ryan Han settled down after a tough back stretch to finish with a 4-over 76. Junior
Evan Knight, the Aggies' top performer on Friday, carded a 77 to close out his tournament with a 223. Corfee tied for 50th in the individual standings with his even-par 216 total. Han was three strokes back in a tie for 66th, with Robinson (t75th), Knight (t89th) and Baumgarten (t98th) rounding out the UC Davis contingent. Texas Tech won the team championship with a 10-under-par 278 on Saturday and a three-round total of 820. USC placed second with its 36-under 828 total, while Oregon was 10 strokes back at 838 for third. TTU's Fredrik Nilehn, USC's Rico Hoey and Arizona State's Jared D'Tolt each finished at 16-under 200 for the individual medal, with Nilehn sinking a 15-foot putt to win the playoff. UC Davis returns to action at its own Prestige at PGA WEST event in La Quinta on February 20-22. The Aggies cohost the prestigious meet with Stanford.
