Feb. 22, 2017 LA QUINTA, Calif. - UC Davis senior Ben Corfee shot a 2-over-par 73 to finish in a tie for 24th place in the individual standings, while the Aggies as a team closed out in 12th place, wrapping up action at the 17th-annual Prestige at PGA WEST men's collegiate golf tournament at the par-71, 7065-yard Greg Norman Course Wednesday.
LSU protected its lead en route to capturing the overall team title, finishing at even-par 852. Pepperdine fired a 5-under 279 in Wednesday's round to slide up the second place with an 856-stroke total, while Oklahoma finished third at 858. UC Davis compiled a 54-hole score of 889. Arizona State's Jared duToit won the individual medalist with his 9-under 204. LSU's Sam Burns carded a 4-under 67 to move up to second in the individual standings with his 5-under 208, while Nahum Mendoza (San Diego State), Quade Cummins (Oklahoma) and Sandy Scott (Texas Tech) shared third place at 209. This is the second straight day that Corfee had UC Davis' low round. Junior
Evan Knight was the Aggies' No. 2 finisher with a 9-over-par 222 total. He birdied the 12th, 18th and ninth holes to shoot a 74 round on Wednesday.

Ryan Han each took part in a seven way tie for 52nd with 222 totals.
Nicolas Noya rounded out the team scoring with his 230 for a share of 67th place while
Brandon Baumgarten was one stroke behind in T70th. Han and Baumgarten were individual entrants for the Aggies. UC Davis returns to action in less than a week for Pepperdine's Southwestern Invitational on Monday and Tuesday.
