Final results from The Prestige at PGA WEST in PDF Format 
LA QUINTA, Calif. - Sparked by medalist Daniel Jennevret's six-shot victory on Tuesday, the TCU men's golf team successfully defended its title at The Prestige at PGA WEST with an impressive 16-stroke victory over co-host Stanford at the TPC Stadium Course, winning the event for the third time in the tournament's 10-year history.
TCU roared to a 14-under 850 team score for the 54-hole event, blistering the par-72, 7,300-yard course with a 12-under 276 during Tuesday's final round. The No. 34 Horned Frogs' Travis Woolf joined Jennevret in the top 10, finishing seventh at 2-under 214 after shooting a 5-under 67. Jennevret posted his third consecutive round in the 60s, carding a 67 to finish at 12-under 204, the second-lowest score relative to par in the tournament's history.
Eighth-ranked Stanford, which co-hosted The Prestige at PGA WEST with UC Davis, shot 288 to earn runner-up honors at 2-over 866. Fourth-ranked Washington (+5) was third followed by UCLA and No. 12 USC (+8) which tied for fifth. The University of San Diego (+15), Pepperdine (+16) and UC Davis (+19) rounded out the top eight teams in the 13-team field.
Jennevret picked up five birdies and just one bogey during his final round, shooting two shots below par on both the front and back nines. That was more than enough for him to record the win, beating Pedro Figueiredo of UCLA who had a 70 to post a 6-under 210. Defending co-medalist Johan de Beer of TCU, playing as an individual, tied for third at 4-under with Stanford's David Chung and USC's Steve Lim. de Beer shot 71 on Tuesday while Chung fired a 70 and Lim shot 69.
Raber posted his second top-15 finish of the season to pace the co-host Aggies, tying for 13th at par 216. He had three birdies over his first four holes and then balanced his ledger with two birdies, two bogeys and 10 pars the rest of the way. Redshirt freshman Andrew Haggen had the Aggies' best round of tournament, utilizing four birdies and an eagle to help him shoot a 2-under 70 and tie for 22nd at 4-over.
Junior Austin Graham also tied for 22nd after his final-round 75. Sophomore Tim Honeycutt tied for 49th at 11-over after carding a 78 while senior Brent Booth tied for 66th at 16-over after shooting 79.
Stanford placed all five members of its team in the top 40. Besides Chung, Sihwan Kim earned a top-10 finish at 1-under 215 after his round of 75 on Tuesday. Jordan Cox tied for 18th at 3-over, Andrew Yun tied for 34th at 7-over and Steve Ziegler tied for 37th at 8-over. Yun had a round of 71 to help the Cardinal over the final 18 holes.
The Prestige at PGA WEST is in its 10th year as one of the premier collegiate golf tournaments. It has rotated play at several courses at the world-class resort while inviting some of the top academic and golf-playing insituttions in the country.
UC Davis will return to action on Nov. 2-4 when it competes at the University of the Pacific.
