The Aggies earned their third straight win, improving to 3-4. This is the longest winning streak for the program since the 2003 season. The Broncos drop to 3-4 for the year.

Senior Kelly Patterson and junior Renee Ibekwe each came through with another strong match. Patterson recorded 11 kills with seven total blocks, while Ibekwe registered 19 kills and served up three of her team's 10 aces.

For the Broncos, sophomore outside hitter Arlee Tamietti had 14 kills to go with 14 digs and five blocks on defense. Freshman Lauren Hamm led Boise with 19 total digs.

Varney had eight kills on 16 swings in Game 1, during which UC Davis stormed to a 13-6 lead and never trailed. The Broncos managed to tie the game at 23-23 on an ace from junior outside hitter Kristen Voyson, but the Aggies responded with two Ibekwe kills in a run of four unanswered points. Varney and Patterson teamed up on a block to set up 29-25 game point, then Varney fired the game-winner two points later.

The Aggies struggled offensively out of the gates in Game 2, slipping to a 14-10 deficit early in the frame. Boise middle Robyn Hewitt posted a pair of blocks during her team's start. UC Davis fought back to a 20-20 tie, but the Broncos pulled away behind a pair of UC Davis attack errors. Hamm's successful roll shot put her team up 24-20, and BSU protected the lead the rest of the way to a 1-1 tie.

UC Davis dominated the third game, hitting .400 through a 21-7 start, then riding out the frame to take a 2-1 match lead. Varney and Ibekwe each had five kills on offense, while Patterson and opposite Katelyn Astruc each picked up a pair of blocks at the net during Game 3.

The Aggies maintained their momentum in Game 4, pulling away to a 14-11 lead on an Ibekwe ace. Patterson later recorded a pair of blocks to help extend the margin to 19-13, then Tori Hooper provided both offensive and defensive contributions down the stretch en route to the 30-21 win.
