DAVIS, Calif. — Coming off of the program's first ever conference championship a season ago, UC Davis volleyball and 13th-year head coach
Dan Conners enter a new era in the Mountain West as they announce their 2026 schedule. This year's slate features a pair of former Big West rivals, six 2025 NCAA tournament participants, and a plethora of Power 4 opponents.
The season opens up in the Centennial State as the Aggies participate in three matches from Aug. 28-30. Action begins against Colorado State on Aug. 28, versus Northern Colorado on Aug. 29, and in a neutral site match against SMU on Aug. 30.
Hosting a preseason tournament for the first time since 2021, the Aggies welcome San Diego State and Cal Poly into the University Credit Union Center on Sept. 3 & 5 respectively for the Aggie Invitational. Following their first home series, UC Davis then heads to the desert for three matches hosted by Arizona State, opening against the host Sun Devils on Sept. 10 before facing San Diego on Sept. 11 and Oregon on Sept. 12.
After a home match against Cal on Sept. 16, the preseason slate wraps up at USC. The Aggies and Trojans face off on Sept. 18 at 7:00 pm before Davis goes against former Big West rival UC Santa Barbara the next day at 2:00 pm.
The Mountain West Conference era begins in Las Vegas on Sept. 24 and 26, when the Ags play the UNLV Rebels on Sept. 24 and 26. Returning home over the next two weekends, the team welcomes Air Force on Oct. 1 and 3 and New Mexico on Oct. 8 and 10.
Staying in California on Oct. 16 and 17, the Aggies travel to the Bay Area to face off with San Jose State. They then go home and away against Nevada on Oct. 22 and 24, heading to Reno on the 22nd before hosting the Wolf Pack on the 24th.
The penultimate home series comes on Oct. 30 and 31 when Davis hosts long-time conference rival Hawai'i in a Halloween doubleheader. UTEP and Wyoming will be the final road trips of the regular season for the Aggies, with matches against the Miners being on Nov. 6 and 8 and against the Cowboys on Nov. 12 and 14.
Grand Canyon comes to the University Credit Union Center on Nov. 18 and 19 for the final two regular season contests of the year.
The 2026 Mountain West Volleyball Championships will be hosted by UNLV on Nov. 24-25.
