DAVIS, Calif. — With practice now officially underway, UC Davis volleyball and 13 year head coach Dan Conners has rounded out his staff for the 2026 season with the hiring of veteran coach Greg Harasymowycz.

A three year letterwinner with CSUN men's volleyball from 1998-00, Harasymowycz began his coaching career as an assistant coach for six seasons. Following his tenure with the Matadors, Harasymowycz came to Westwood as a volunteer assistant coach under legendary head coach Al Scates at UCLA.

After four seasons as a volunteer coach for the Bruins, Harasymowycz was named the program's first full-time assistant ahead of the 2012 season. In 2013, he then began his tenure as an assistant at Iowa State.

In addition to his collegiate coaching experience, Harasymowycz has also spent time as a coach at the youth level, most recently as a 16U coach for Pacific Coast Volleyball down in Thousand Oaks.

"I want to thank Coach Dan Conners and the UC Davis administration for allowing me to be part of an exceptional institution of higher learning." Harasymowycz said. "I am truly grateful and look forward to collaborating closely with our athletic staff and a dedicated group of young athletes."
