2012-13: MOUNTAIN PACIFIC SPORTS FEDERATION ALL-ACADEMIC SCHOLAR-ATHLETE. Best times of the season include: 100 free (1:00.45) at Pacific Invite; 200 free (2:02.35), 500 free (5:17.17), 1650 free (17:51.24), 200 Fly (2:15.58), 200 IM (2:19.72), and 400 IM (4:46.56) at Mizzou Invite; 1000 free (10:46.69) vs. SJSU.
2011-12: Opened year with season-best 500 (5:10.20) at Pacific Invite... Competed in 1,000 four times, posting best of 10:28.98 in San Jose State dual... Earned MPSF All-Academic honors.
2010-11: Had team[apos]s No. 2 time in 1,000 free, posting 10:24.56 at Allington Memorial meet, 9th in school history entering 2012-13... Posted 1,650 time of 17:29.95 at Arena Invite, then 9th all-time... Also had season bests in 500 free (5:08.46) and 200 fly (2:13.30) at Allington meet.
FLINTRIDGE SACRED HEART [apos]10: Helped team to four straight Mission League championships... Won league 500 title by more than a half-minute as a senior, advancing to Southern Section meet... Placed 22nd at CIF-SS championships at 5:10.80... Competed fro Swim Pasadena from 2000-10... Won mile and 800 free events at 2008 Junior Olympics, while placing second in the 400 freestyle.
PERSONAL: Born in Pasadena, Calif.... Majoring in English... Parents are Mark & Kelly Talt... Older brother, A.J., plays baseball at Stanford... If not for swimming, would consider joining the UC Davis equestrian team.
