2012-13 MOUNTAIN PACIFIC SPORTS FEDERATION ALL-ACADEMIC SCHOLAR-ATHLETE... Best times of the season include: 50 free (25.72), 100 free (55.21), 200 free (1:57.33), 100 back (58.13), and 200 back (2:06.04) at Mizzou Invite.
2011-12: Posted 8th-fastest 200 back time in school history with 2:06.15 at Allington Memorial meet... Hit 100 back best of 59.78 at Mizzou Invite to end fall season... Also went 56.22 in 100 free at Allington, 1:57.06 in 200 free at Mizzou Invite to establish other season-best marks.
VALHALLA HS '11 Set school records in 100 free (53.22) and 100 back (58.23), plus two relays... Won San Diego Section 100 back title as a senior, posting times of 58.42 and 58.38 in prelim and final, respectively... Also placed 6th in 100 free (54.64 prelim) and took part in two 2nd-place relays at sections... Earned San Diego Union-Tribune All-Academic and Scholastic All-America honors... Competed for Heartland Swim Association for two years.
PERSONAL: Born in San Diego, Calif... Majoring in English... Parents are Jennifer & Thomas Luibel... Older of two sisters, along with Colleen (17)... Proudest personal accomplishment was her section title in 2011.
