2022: Played in 11 games and had one start… Registered 30 total tackles with 21 solo stops… Forced one fumble and had one interception… Credited with three pass breakups… Took an interception 40 yards back for a touchdown at Northern Colorado (Oct. 22)… Tallied 10 total tackles and forced a fumble against No. 12 Weber State (Sept. 24).
2021 FALL: Appeared in two games… Assisted on one tackle… Named the team’s GEORGE BELENIS AWARD winner for the Scout Team Player of the Year on Special Teams.
2021 SPRING: Won team’s GEORGE BELENIS AWARD as outstanding scout team player of the year (special teams recipient)... Appeared in four games as a reserve DB... Lone stat was a tackle assist vs. Idaho State (3/27), halting Malakai Rango for a 2-yard run midway through 3rd quarter.
SIERRA COLLEGE: Played in 2018 and 2019 seasons... Recorded 29 tackles (19 solos, 10 assists) with 3.5 TFLS, a pick and a fumble recovery as a sophomore... Had 8 assist tackles and two interceptions as a freshman.
REED HS ’18: Starred in football, basketball and track... Helped football team to Northern Nevada regionals in both 2015 and 2017... Rushed for 494 yards (11.2 per attempt) with 8 TDs on offense, posted 49 tackles (23 solo, 26 assist) with 16 passes defended as a senior... Added another 532 yards in kick returns...Totaled 18-28-46 tackles chart with 5 PDs as a junior... Earned All-High Desert League first-team honors in each of final two years, adding first-team all-state and all-section DB honors in 2017... Selected as Northern Nevada Male Track Athlete of the Year as a senior, ranking tops in the state in both hurdles.
PERSONAL: Born in Reno, Nevada... Majoring in managerial economics... Hopes to become a home lender (following Lupe's example)...
