2023:
ALL-BIG SKY CONFERENCE SECOND TEAM for defense…Played in all 11 games…Had 29 tackles (15 solo, 14 assisted)…Had seven tackles for a loss for a total of 30 yards…Had 3.5 sacks for a total of 23 yards…Had one pass breakup and two quarterback hurries…Had one forced fumble and one fumble recovery…Recorded season high six tackles against Sacramento State on November 18th…Recorded season high three tackles for a loss against Cal Poly on September 30th…Recorded season high two sacks against Cal Poly…Recorded forced fumble and fumble recovery against Cal Poly…Recorded quarterback hurry on two occasions (vs. Southern Utah on September 16th and vs. Portland State on November 4th)…Recorded pass breakup against Cal Poly.

2022: Played in all 11 games and made seven starts… Registered 34 total tackles that included 18 solo stops and 5.5 for loss… Credited with five quarterback hurries and one fumble recovery… Posted a season-high seven tackles and two for loss against NAU (Oct. 15)… Recovered a fumble at No. 2 South Dakota State (Sept. 10)… Forced a fumble against Cal Poly (Oct. 29).

2021 FALL: Played in 11 games and made eight starts… Registered 41 total tackles, including 19 solo stops and five for a loss… Tallied half a sack, broke up one pass and had three quarterback hurries… Totaled six tackles and had 2.5 for a loss against San Diego (9/11)… Shared a sack against Dixie State (9/18)… Posted seven tackles, including five solo stops against Northern Colorado (10/16).

2021 SPRING: Started all five games at rush position... Finished with 15 tackles (7 solos, 8 assists), including 2-6-8 chart against Idaho State (3/27)... Also had a 7-yard sack and a hurry against Bengal QB Ty Vander Waal in that game, the latter of which immediately followed an assist TFL with Cole Hansen... First sack of the season was a 4-yard forced fumble against Weber State’s Bronson Barron on a 3rd-and-9 (3/13).

2019: BIG SKY CONFERENCE FRESHMAN OF THE YEAR, on both the official league awards and by Phil Steele... HERO SPORTS FRESHMAN ALL-AMERICA FIRST TEAM... ALL-BIG SKY CONFERENCE SECOND TEAM... FCS JERRY RICE AWARD FINALIST... Ranked 8th in conference in TFLs (12.0), 12th in sacks (6.5)... Posted 56 total tackles (34-22-56) with 6 pass breakups, 5 forced fumbles and a fumble recovery... That last stat arguably rates as his most notable highlight of the year: intercepted a pitch and returned it 78 yards for a touchdown against Cal Poly (10/12)... Earned STATS FCS National Freshman of the Week, College Sports Madness Big Sky Conference Defensive Player of the Week and ROOT SPORTS Big Sky Defensive Player of the Week for that game... Notched season-best 9 tackles (3 solos, 6 assists) at North Dakota (10/5)... Picked up a second Big Sky DPOW honor after his performance at Portland State (11/9): 6-2-8 tackles, 2.0 sacks for 4 yards, 2 forced fumbles and a PBU... Earned team’s Mike Wise Award as outstanding freshman.

2018: Qualified for a redshirt by competing in four games or fewer, as permissible by the NCAA and its new policy... GEORGE BELENIS AWARD recipient, presented to the team's scout team player of the year (defense)… Competed in three games… Broke up his first pass, and earned his first tackle as an Aggie against Idaho (9/22)… Also competed against Northern Arizona (11/3) and at Eastern Washington (12/8) in the program’s first-ever FCS playoff quarterfinal. 

WHITNEY HS '18: Sacramento Bee All-Metro 2017 selection... All-Capital Valley Conference selection and team captain as a senior... Earned Underclassman of the Year and all-league honors in 2016... Finished with 51 tackles and five sacks... Additionally, caught seven passes as one of the team’s wide receivers that season... Recorded 143 total tackles, including 44 solo, 16.5 sacks for a combined 107 yards lost, 57 hurries, forced or caused three fumbles throughout his three-year career at Whitney High School... Also caught 34 passes for 394 yards and four touchdowns as a senior.

PERSONAL: Both of his parents were student-athletes at San José State... The opportunity to receive an unbeatable education, and play Division I football, were the reasons he chose UC Davis.
