DAVIS, Calif. — UC Davis men's golf opens its 2026-27 season Thursday at the 14th annual Ram Masters Invitational, hosted by Colorado State at Fort Collins Country Club.
The two-day tournament begins with 36 holes Thursday before concluding with the final 18 Friday. Play is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. MT (7 a.m. PT) each day, with Thursday's opening two rounds using a shotgun start.
Freshman Cooper Greenwood will make his collegiate debut in the No. 1 position for the Aggies. Junior Shaun Nair and seniors Curtis Da Silva, Treed Huang and Ryan Firpo complete the five-player lineup, while sophomore Zhenxian Zhang will compete as an individual.
Da Silva returns to a course where he recorded his first top-10 finish as an Aggie last season. He followed an opening-round 75 with rounds of 66 and 69 to place 10th at even-par 210. Da Silva and Firpo later earned All-Big West honorable mention at the conclusion of the 2025-26 season.
Greenwood arrives from Agoura High School, where he was a four-time First Team All-Marmonte League selection and helped the Chargers capture the 2023 CIF Southern Section Division III team championship.
The Ram Masters begins a four-tournament fall schedule for UC Davis, which will also compete at the Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational, Windon Memorial Classic and Trinity Forest Invitational. The campaign marks the Aggies' first as members of the Mountain West Conference.
