DAVIS, Calif. — Three members of the UC Davis women's soccer team - F Ashley Brewer, M Savannah Cordero and D Courtney Wagner - were named to the 2026 Mountain West Women's Soccer Watch List selected by the league's coaches and announced on Wednesday.
Brewer transferred to UC Davis from Cal Poly prior to the 2026 season after contributing one goal and one assist as a 2025 freshman for a team that finished 10-3-9 overall, won the Big West Tournament title and reached the first round of the NCAA Tournament before falling to No. 1 seed Stanford. Brewer played in 19 of 22 games all off the bench during her rookie collegiate campaign. As a prep at San Luis Obispo High School, she scored 76 career points on 59 goals and 17 assists while her squads won three All-Mountain League titles.
Cordero missed UC Davis' first 11 games of the 2025 campaign due to injury before playing in the final eight contests and making her first five career starts.
Wagner started the first 14 games for the Aggies a year ago before suffering a season-ending injury but returned to the pitch during the off-season.
UC Davis will host San Francisco in an exhibition at Aggie Soccer Field on Wednesday (7 p.m.) before kicking off its regular season one week later at Fresno State (Aug. 12, 7 p.m.). The first home game of the campaign is slated against Causeway rival Sacramento State on Sunday, Aug. 16 (8 p.m.).
The Mountain also released its preseason women's soccer coaches poll with the Aggies tabbed eighth.

Event parking will be honored in Lot 25 and the Pavilion parking structure ($5.50) for Wednesday's exhibition and all home games through Sept. 11. There is construction work in the area and fans should follow signage posted near the parking structure and stadium for information on entering the stadium.
