DAVIS, Calif. — The UC Davis women's soccer team will host nine matches at Aggie Soccer Field during a 19-game overall slate in 2026. The team's home schedule includes five Mountain West Conference showdowns in its inaugural season as a member of the league, as well as four non-conference matches.
The Aggies start with an exhibition Aug. 5 against San Francisco before their regular-season home opener 11 days later against Causeway rival Sacramento State (Aug. 16). In between, UC Davis plays its regular-season opener at Fresno State (Aug. 12). The Aggies also visit Bay Area foes Saint Mary's (Aug. 20) and Santa Clara (Aug. 27) on back-to-back Thursdays before closing the opening month with a visit from UC Santa Barbara (Aug. 30).
The second month of the schedule starts with second-year head coach Kat Mertz' squad hosting Pacific (Sept. 6) before playing two more Thursday night road contests at Loyola Marymount (Sept. 10) and Portland (Sept. 17). Idaho visits UC Davis for the Aggies' final non-conference contest of the season three days later (Sept. 20).
UC Davis will play its first-ever conference game as a member of the Mountain West at Air Force on Sept. 24 to begin a two-game trip to the state of Colorado that closes at Colorado College (Sept. 27).
Fans will have their first chance to see a Mountain West opponent for a conference game at Aggie Soccer Field when UC Davis welcomes Wyoming for a Friday night showdown on Oct. 2. The Aggies will play four of their first five October games at home with other Mountain West visitors including Grand Canyon (Oct. 7), UNLV (Oct. 15) and Hawai'i (Oct. 18). The Aggies will travel just twice in October with trips to New Mexico (Oct. 15) and San Jose State (Oct. 28).
UC Davis will close out the regular season in the first week of November by hosting UTEP in its Nov. 1 home finale visiting Nevada on Nov. 7.
The Mountain West Conference Championship consisting of the league's top six teams will take place Nov. 11-14 at Grand Canyon in Phoenix, while the 64-team NCAA Tournament begins Nov. 20 on campus sites and culminates with the Women's College Cup semifinals and finals Dec. 10 and 13 at First Horizon Stadium in Cary, N.C.
