IRVING, Texas  — With UC Davis lacrosse now 2-0 to start conference play, the weekly awards continue to come in for the Aggies as Jane Fox has been announced the Big 12 Attack Player of the Week and Ava Horrocks was awarded the conference's Freshman of the Week on Wednesday, Apr. 8.

This honor is the first of the career for Fox and the third for Horrocks.

In Saturday's win over San Diego State, Fox tied for a game-high five points with four goals and one assist, cashing in on a hat trick for the seventh time during her sophomore season. 

The Aggies leading goal scorer in 2026, Fox's 35 goals puts her fifth among Big 12 attackers.

Her second straight freshman honor and third of the season, Horrocks was the other five point scorer against the Aztecs with two goals and three assists. 

Now up to 19 goals and 34 points on the season, she ranks third on the team in both categories.

These performances helped elevate UC Davis to an 18-8 home win over San Diego State, helping the team start 2-0 in conference play for the first time in the Big 12 era.
