OPENING DRAW
- Audrey Carr was the lone multi-goal scorer of the afternoon, scoring two goals for the second time in a game this season.
- Lia Wilgus cashed in her second goal of the season.
- Other goal scorers on the day included Lauren Picardi, Tory Agnew, and Cami Johnson.
- Despite the loss, goalkeeper Emily Altshuler had bright moments throughout the contest, including four saves in the first quarter.
HOW IT HAPPENEDÂ
- After seeing Florida open the game on a 10-0 run, Agnew scored with two minutes left in the first half to put her team on the board.
- Following four more scores from the Gators, Johnson took the ball from Picardi for another Aggie score before Carr followed that up with her first goal of the day.
- In the fourth quarter, UC Davis matched their opponent 3-3 in scoring, opening up on a Picardi goal following a Gator yellow card.
- After Annie Cimperman won a draw control to give her team another possession, Carr found the back of the net for a second time.
- With just seconds remaining in regulation, Wilgus cashed in her second goal of her freshman season to wrap things up for her team.
UP NEXT: The Aggies will remain in Gainesville to tackle the 2026 Big 12 Tournament hosted by Florida. Their tournament will begin in a rematch against the top-seeded Gators on Thursday, Apr. 30. Opening draw will be at 1:00 p.m. PT and will be streamed live on ESPN+.
