OPENING DRAW
- Carr went for two or more goals for the second straight game and the third time this season.
- She also added two draw controls to her total on the day.
- In her final game as an Aggie, Lauren Picardi scored a goal.
- Annie Cimperman led the middle with six draw controls.
- Three different players created a caused turnover on the day, including freshman Ruby Montanez.
HOW IT HAPPENEDÂ
- After seeing the Gators get the first two on the board, Catie McCauley took a pass from Jane Fox to open the Aggie scoring.
- Holly Smith followed that up with an assist from Rhea Cosand before Carr cashed in her first to keep the Ags within four, 3-7, late in the first quarter.
- An 8-0 run from Florida through the second and third quarter put them up 12 before Carr put in her second and third of the day to secure her hat trick heading into the fourth.
- On their second possession of the final quarter, Davis got a goal from Tory Agnew off another Cosand assist that gave her two points on the day.
- With seven minutes left, Picardi scored her final collegiate goal off a dish from Lia Wilgus.
- But that would be the last of the scoring from the Aggies, as their opponent would win 22-7 and move on to the Big 12 Finals.
