Women’s Volleyball Rounds Out 2026 Signing Class

DAVIS, Calif.  — As UC Davis volleyball gears up for its first year of competition in the Mountain West, head coach Dan Conners has announced the rest of his 2026 signing class, with Ana Stojanovic, Isabella Umpierre, Khloe Wong, Katelyn Sentous, and Jada Johnson all joining the UC Davis family in the fall.

Ana Stojanovic (OH/6'0"/London, Ontario, Canada/Oakridge Secondary School)

Joining the team from across the border in Canada, this two sport athlete comes to California following four seasons of varsity play at Oakridge Secondary School in Ontario.
Playing as both an outside hitter and middle blocker for the Oak Leafs, Stojanovic helped lead her team to back-to-back undefeated seasons in her sophomore and junior years, becoming both team captain and MVP as a junior.

Stojanovic also brings the flair of international competition to the Aggies after competing for Volleyball Canada for three straight summers. Following her freshman season, she helped lead Canada's Youth National Team to bronze in the U18 Canada Cup.

She followed that up in 2024 by leading her team in scoring at the FIVB U17 World Championships, one of the biggest international competitions in volleyball, while leading Team Canada to silver in the U18 Canada Cup. Last summer, she led Ontario to gold in the Canada Summer Games while continuing to compete internationally at the U19 Norceca PanAmerican Cup and FIVB U19 World Championships

Dan Conners on Stojkovic:

"Ana is exactly the type of player looking to come in and fill some big shoes. She has the ability to attack and score from multiple spots on the court and can contribute in every phase of the game. We are thrilled to bring her into the Aggie family!"

Isabella Umpierre (OPP, OH/5'10"/Windermere, Fla./Winter Park High School)

Coming across the country from the Sunshine State, the No. 2 ranked right side has built a reputation as one of the best hitters in Florida over the last four seasons, being named a USA Volleyball Team Florida All-Star four times from 2021-24.

At both the club and high school levels of competition, Umpierre has done nothing but win, claiming a volleyball Girls Juniors National Championship from USA Volleyball in 2022 with her club Top Select 14 Elite. At Winter Park High School, she won four district and regional titles while also helping lead her team to the 2024 7A Florida State Championship and the 2025 AAU National Championship.

Individually, her success has led Umpierre to a number of national awards, including an AAU 17 & Under All-American award, the 2025 District Player of the Year, being named to the AVCA All-American Watch List twice, and becoming a Third-Team AVCA All-American following her senior year.

Coach Conners on Umpierre:

"Isa brings an elite combination of power and competitive fire that is incredibly unique. As a 6-rotation lefty opposite with a big arm, she gives us a dynamic weapon out of both the front and back row. Her drive to compete at the highest level fits perfectly with our culture here at UC Davis."

Khloe Wong (L, DS/5'6"/Folsom, Calif./Folsom High School)

A local product from Folsom, Wong has played as the starting libero for the Bulldogs over the last four seasons, averaging over four digs per set throughout her career.

Wong's best season came as a junior, when she recorded 577 digs across 129 sets played while also posting 158 assists. Serving as the defensive centerpiece for the Bulldogs, she helped elevate the program from the 110th to the 20th ranked volleyball team in the state of California, finishing second in the Sierra Foothill League (SFL) the last two years.

This success has come with a number of awards the last three seasons for Wong, awarding her a place on the SFL All-League First Team as a sophomore, junior and senior while helping her surpass rarified air with 2,000 career digs.

Conners on Wong:

"Khloe is one of the most technically polished liberos in her class. Her court awareness, passing precision, and defensive prowess provide an incredible foundation to our firstt contact opportunities.  She controls the game in ways that don't always show up in the box score which is exactly what great liberos do!"

Katelyn Sentous (MB, OH/5'11"/San Jose, Calif./Archbishop Mitty High School)

Coming across the Bay from Archbishop Mitty High School in San Jose, Sentous has served as the top net protector for the Monarchs over the last three seasons.

Playing in the Western Catholic Athletic League (WCAL), Mitty has won three straight league championships with Sentous on the roster while also winning the NorCal Open Division Championship in 2023 and 2024. Her performances on those teams led to becoming a two time WCAL Second-Team Selection as a junior and senior.

In the classroom, she was recognized as the Archbishop Mitty Scholar Athlete of the Year as a senior, reflecting her commitment to both athletics and academics at a high level.

Dan Conners on Sentous:

"Katelyn's athleticism at the middle position is truly special. She has the tools to be a force at the net on both sides of the ball, and her physical gifts give her an incredible amount of potential. We expect her to come in right away and have an immediate impact."

Jada Johnson (OPP, OH/5'10"/Portland, Ore./Jesuit High School)

The No. 1 ranked opposite hitter in Oregon in the class of 2026, Johnson brings versatility to the Aggie roster after posting over 750 kills, 250 digs, and 100 total blocks throughout her high school career for Jesuit.

Playing as a starter for four years on a Crusaders squad that posted four straight first place finishes in Oregon's 6A division, Johnson has stood out among her teammates her last two seasons, leading Jesuit in kills as a junior before being elected team captain ahead of her senior year.

State championships for Jesuit the last three seasons has also given Johnson a number of individual awards, including First Team All-State honors as a sophomore and senior, Second Team honors as a junior, and Third Team as a freshman. Nationally, she was awarded a spot on the Prep Volleyball Northwest All-Region team in 2024.

Coach Conners on Johnson:
"Jada brings everything you would want to a team. She has an incredible jumping ability and fast arm that can terminate rallies along with a strong character that elevates everyone around her.  Her energy is the kind that is contagious in the locker room and creates a competitive vibe that brings the best out of those around her.  We could not be more excited to have her a part of the team."

"This recruiting class, along with Gianna (Bogan), encapsulates everything we look for in building a championship program, as this group compliments each other perfectly." Says Conners. "They are skilled, they are hungry, they are Aggies. We believe this group will leave a lasting mark on UC Davis Volleyball."

With the start of 2026 less than five months away, the Aggies will look to build off of one of the most successful seasons in program history after winning 16 conference games in 2025.
