DAVIS, Calif. — Seven different Aggies scored for UC Davis lacrosse in a 15-4 win over Marist on Friday, Mar. 13. This win is the third straight for UC Davis as they ramp up for Big 12 Conference play.

OPENING DRAW
- For the second straight week, Jane Fox set a career-high by scoring eight points (five goals, three assists) for the Aggies.
- Three goals from Lauren Picardi gives her a hat trick for the third time this season.
- Three assists from Rhea Cosand tied for the team-lead.
- Freshman Ava Horrocks had a pair of goals along with an assist for three points.
- Annie Cimperman posted double-digit draw controls for the second time this season with 12 on the night.
- Defensively, Hailey Dommers had another strong game with two caused turnovers and two ground ball pickups.
- Emily Altshuler got the win in net with seven saves.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- On the first possession of the game, Horrocks found the back of the net for her first goal.
- Picardi and Fox added tallies to combat the first Red Fox goal as the Aggies finished the period up 3-1.
- The defense stepped up big in the second quarter, not allowing any goals for Marist.
- Offensively, Fox led the way with a pair of scores to go along with firsts from Cami Johnson and Holly Smith as the home team would enter halftime with a 9-1 advantage.
- Coming out of the half, Picardi secured her hat trick with two more goals, getting her second on a free position attempt.
- Fox would end the quarter with her fourth, carrying a 13-2 lead into the final period of action.
- After Fox would get her fifth to start the fourth, Catie McCauley took a pass from Tory Agnew for her first goal of the day to cap off the offensive showing for the Aggies.
- Marist would get two on the board in the final quarter, but UC Davis would secure a 15-4 win.
UP NEXT: UC Davis will have one final preseason tuneup before starting conference play when they hit the road to face Marquette on Monday, Mar. 23. The opening draw is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. PT and the match will be streamed live on ESPN+.
