DAVIS, Calif. – Three UC Davis men's basketball standouts earned All-Big West recognition on Tuesday, as the conference office announced that guard Marcus Wilson, forward Niko Rocak, and guard Connor Sevilla have been named Honorable Mention selections.

Wilson solidified himself as one of the league's best guards, averaging 12.2 points and leading the Aggies with 4.0 assists per game while ranking fourth in the Big West in both assists and assist-to-turnover ratio (1.85). He delivered several of the season's most impactful performances, headlined by a career-high 30-point outburst in an overtime victory at Long Beach State on March 5. The freshman was equally dominant in February home wins, fueling a victory over UC Santa Barbara with 24 points, six rebounds, and six assists, and tallying 24 points, four rebounds, and three assists in a critical result against Cal Poly.

Rocak capped his final regular season as one of the most prolific rim protectors in program history. Ranking 59th nationally with 1.6 blocks per game, he totaled 48 blocks on the year to rank third in the conference. With 152 blocks in his Aggie career, Rocak enters the postseason just two away from tying Jason Cox (154) for the UC Davis all-time record. He saved his best offensive performance for the regular-season finale, dropping a season-high 20 points against UC Irvine, and previously hauled in a career-high 13 rebounds during the Aggies' win at Long Beach State.

Connor Sevilla provided elite backcourt production, leading the Aggies in scoring at 13.1 points per game. Sevilla's 41.0 percent shooting from 3-point range ranked second best in the Big West. A model of consistency, Sevilla scored in double figures 23 times this season and eclipsed the 20-point mark on five separate occasions, including a career-high 26 points against North Dakota State. From the charity stripe, Sevilla ranks 14th in the country and first in the Big West with a 90.0 percent mark (99-of-110), which stands as the second-highest single-season percentage in program history among players with at least 2.5 attempts per game and 75 percent games.

The trio leads a UC Davis squad that enters the postseason ranking 14th nationally in turnovers forced per game (14.94) and second in the Big West in turnover margin (+2.1) and steals per game (8.0).

UC Davis will begin its pursuit of a conference title on Wednesday, March 11, when the No. 6 seeded Aggies open the First Round of the Big West Championships against No. 7 seed UC Santa Barbara at 8:30 p.m.
