HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Aggies started off fast, with Picardi finding the back of the net a minute into the contest before a free position goal from Agnew gave her team a 2-0 lead four minutes later.
- Oregon cut into the lead quickly, looking for another response before a player advantage allowed Johnson to record her first of the day to give Davis a 3-1 lead after the first.
- On the first possession of the second quarter, Horrocks added to her team lead with a score to go up 4-1.
- Ducks goalkeeper Francesca Viteritti capitalized on her six save day with two in this quarter, helping hold the Aggie offense as her team would score two to get back within one as they marched closer to halftime.
- With 12 seconds left in the half, Horrocks scored again as she led her team to a 5-3 advantage.
- After Jane Fox scored in the top of the third quarter to push the lead back up to three, Oregon began to gain momentum, going on a 4-0 run in the next four minutes to take their first lead of the day.
- Johnson and Dommers took advantage of cards from the Ducks to anchor a three goal period, but another Oregon score saw things tied at eight apiece heading into the final period.
- With ten minutes remaining in regulation, Picardi scored her second goal of the afternoon to retake the lead.
- A Ducks goal two minutes later tied it up once again at nine.
- As both teams battled defensively into the final minute, the edge would ultimately go to the home team, with a score with 73 seconds left giving UC Davis a 9-10 defeat.
