EUGENE, Ore. — Eight players scored multiple goals as UC Davis lacrosse secured their third win of the season in a 20-5 victory over Delaware State in Oregon on Monday, Mar. 2.

OPENING DRAW
- Of the eight multi goal scorers, three got their first scores of the season. Avery Williams, Macey Torres, and Gabby Torres each found the back of the net for the first time this year.
- Two goals and six assists from Rhea Cosand gives her a career-high eight points on the day.
- Catie McCauley also got a career-high with four points (two goals, two assists)
- Holly Smith contributed in a number of ways, scoring one goal, picking up four ground balls, causing one turnover, and winning eight draw controls.
- Playing in her first game of the season, freshman Krystalin Respicio logged 45 minutes in goal while picking up two saves and her first collegiate win.
- Freshman Lia Wilgus also picked up her first career point on an assist.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Starting the game on a 7-0 run, the Aggies were led by two scores from Jane Fox in the first five minutes to set the tone for the rest of the afternoon.
- Kehnai Parks gave Delaware State their lone goal of the first period as Davis finished the quarter up 7-1.
- Lola Chai and Kate Donnelley made up the Aggie scoring in the second, putting them up by as much as eight.
- Two quick goals from the Hornets saw the score read 9-3 in favor of the Aggies heading into halftime.
- Coming back onto the field, two goals from Gabby Torres fueled a 6-0 Davis run throughout the third quarter.
- Delaware State tacked another on the board as the Aggies led 15-4 after three.
- Five goals, including one from Williams and Tory Agnew led the way for UC Davis in period number four, helping the team cruise to a 20-5 victory.
