DAVIS, Calif. – UC Davis cross country, after a strong opening race performance, is set to run under the lights at the Kim Duyst Twilight Invitational set to get going at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 13.

The weekend's race will feature 25 collegiate teams and 67 high school teams. The high school teams will run under the setting California sun while the collegiate races will take place under the lights on the River Oaks Golf Course.

UC Davis is coming off an opening weekend at the USF Invitational on Aug. 29 where the men finished second and the women came in fifth. The Aggie men used the final parts of its 8k to move up nine spots from 11th after the opening third of the race to their eventual fifth place finish. While
Fiona McGrath's 21:33.2 led the Aggie women putting McGrath 14th overall in the race and she was joined by
Peyton Adams (21st, 21:54.5) inside the top 25.
