Box Score NORTHRIDGE, Calif. – Up against the No. 23 CSUN Matadors for their second conference game of the season, the Aggies set the tone and took control of the game from the get-go and held their lead through all four quarters of play to clinch the victory.
With an impressive 81% accuracy in their shots, the Ags made 17 of their 21 offensive attempts against the Matador defense, converted by eight different Aggie players and their efforts.
Lefty
Maddie Sumner had an impressive all-around game, registering two goals and five assists, racking up seven total points. Senior
Kelly Hungerford creeps closer to breaking the record in assists, logging four on the game alone and adding two steals and a field block under her belt.
Bridget Miller,
Sadie Henry, and
Madison Sparre each recorded a hat trick, making up more than half of the overall Aggie goals. Redshirt junior
Gianna Nocetti broke 50 sprint wins this season during the race for the ball in the third quarter.

Lucy Holland split minutes, making four crucial saves each.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
Quick on the draw, sophomore
Sadie Henry nails the opening shot home within the first twenty seconds of play. Junior
Madison Sparre adds to the tally, firing two goals against the Matadors to give the Ags an early lead. Henry finds the net again, before
Chelsea Johnson,
Liberty Massman, and
Margo Tempel follow suit. At the end of the first, the Ags were up against their Big West opponent 7-3.
There seemed to be a lull in the offense on both sides in the second quarter, littered with kickouts and missed attempts. However, a little over halfway into it, sophomore center powerhouse
Bridget Miller reignited the offensive spark for the Ags. Senior
Sam Yoo adds to the score, then Henry took a trip down to the hattery and scored her third before the first half ended with a perfect shooting percentage.
Miller continues to work in the middle of the umbrella, scoring two more in the third quarter with perfect accuracy. Both Miller and Sparre followed Henry's trio of goals with hat tricks of their own in the third quarter as well.
Maddie Sumner logged a goal and an assist to boost the Aggies in their offensive play.
In the final quarter of play, Sumner, Johnson, and Yoo found their second goals, rounding out the fourth quarter and securing the Aggie victory.
