The short story: UC Davis wrapped up their first tournament of the spring with a 17th place finish at the Amer Ari Invitational.
IN THE FAIRWAY
- Lequan Wang was UC Davis' top player on the week, finishing in a tie for 46th after a 1-under 71 during Saturday's third and final round
- His 7-under 209 total led all Aggies
- Wang also finished the day with four birdies, bouncing back after starting his round with a pair of bogeys
- Zack Tarter had UC Davis' best round on day three, firing a 3-under 69 with six birdies
- Tarter rose up nine spots on the last day to finish in a tie for 91st place
- Shaun Nair continued his consistent play, finishing the tournament with an even par 72
- Louis Grizot had UC Davis' second eagle of the tournament, while he finished the day at 3-over 75
