The short story: UC Davis concluded day one at The Prestige in 21st place as Lequan Wang paced the team with an Aggie-low 1-under 70.

OFF THE TEE BOX

• Wang had five birdies during his 1-under effort, and he ranks 24th amongst the field of individuals
• Shaun Nair followed closely behind, placed tied for 40th at even par while carding three birdies
• Both Wang and Nair shared success on holes 15 and 16, each carding birdies
• Treed Huang much like Nair and Wang, found better success with their scoring clubs later on in the day, carding all three of his birdies on the back nine
