Lola Sullivan Named NCEA Standout Student-Athlete of the Month

DAVIS, Calif. – The National Collegiate Equestrian Association (NCEA) has recognized Lola Sullivan as its Standout Student-Athlete of the Month, honoring the UC Davis junior for her academic success, leadership, and service within the Aggie program and beyond.

Sullivan is majoring in managerial economics with minors in philosophy and sociology, and exemplifies balance and excellence in every aspect of student-athlete life.

She currently serves as team captain after previously holding the role of community service coordinatora reflection of her steady leadership and commitment to her teammates. Her dedication has earned her multiple honors, including two ECAC Sportsmanship Awards, two Team Sportsmanship Awards, the Team Leadership Award, Team Community Service Award, Excellence in Horse Care, and recognition on the ECAC All-Academic Honor Roll.

Beyond the ring, Sullivan is the co-founder and chief operating officer of Fern's Place Inc., a nonprofit providing temporary foster care for pets of individuals entering inpatient care or addiction recovery treatment. Her initiative reflects compassion and drive, complementing her professional experiences with the District Attorney's Office and a private law firm as she prepares to pursue a career in family law, advocating for victims of domestic violence.

Known for her optimism, work ethic, and genuine spirit, Sullivan continues to uplift those around her while embodying the NCEA's core values of integrity, academic excellence, and community service.



The Aggies are back on the road this weekend for meets against Delaware State and UT Martin on Friday, Nov. 7.
