WACO, Texas — The UC Davis equestrian team has been selected as one of eight teams to attend the 2024 NCEA National Collegiate Equestrian Championship at the World Equestrian Center in Ocala, Fla. from April 18-20. 

The Aggies have been seeded eighth in the field and will begin their quest for a national title against top seeded TCU in a quarterfinal meet on Thursday, Apr. 18. Semifinal matchups will take place on Apr. 19, while the championship will be on Apr. 20.

This is the first ever national championship berth for UC Davis, following their successful conference title defense at the 2024 ECAC Championships in late March. The Aggies defeated the nation's no. 10 ranked team, Delaware State and no. 8 ranked team, UT Martin, en route to the title.
