The short story: UC Davis men's golf wrapped up their efforts at the Wyoming Cowboy Classic, finishing in 15
th place as the pair of
Mark Stephens (T19) and
Leo Metzger (T31) both finishing within the top-50. During day one of play Stephens delivered an outstanding performance, recording nine birdies and an eagle. As a result, he found himself tied for first place on the individual leaderboard after 31 holes.

FINAL TEEBOX (DAY TWO)
- After round two was halted due to lightning, play resumed at 7:30 this morning
- Aggies finished 15th in the stacked 23 team field
- Leo Metzger improved throughout every round, carding a tournament Aggie-low, 3-under 69 during his final 18 holes
- Stephens carded a tournament best, two eagles and was the top-placing Aggie, securing a top-20 finish as he tied for 19th
- Darren Chiu finished his final round strong, collecting two birdies over his final four holes as he ended up tied for 64th
- Lucas Carper had a 2-under 70 and an even par during his final 36 holes to finish tied for 87th place
- Treed Huang concluded the Wyoming Cowboy Classic in 116th place
FIRST TEE (DAY ONE)
- Mark Stephens paced the Aggies with a furious start through 31 holes, recording nine birdies and an eagle throughout the day
- Stephens had the lowest score in the field on Par 5s
- Leo Metzger's steady play from The Goodwin carried over to Arizona, as the freshman is just 1-over through 32 holes
- Metzger had an Aggie-low 2.86 average score on Par 3s
- Darren Chiu was right with Metzger, tied for 63rd place thanks in part to a 2-under 70 during his first round
- Lucas Carper is currently even in his second round of play through 14 holes and is tied for 107th place
- Treed Huang is at 2-over during his second round and is tied for 114th place
