UC Davis Continues Homestand Against Davidson

DAVIS, Calif. — The UC Davis women's lacrosse team hosts Davidson College Sunday, Mar. 3 at 1:00 p.m. with a chance to move to 5-1 for the first time since 2014. The Aggies (4-1) are 3-0 at home and with recent wins over Lindenwood and St. Bonaventure at UC Davis Health Stadium.

LAST TIME OUT
The Aggies took down St. Bonaventure on Tuesday night, 13-9 behind Grace Gebhardt's second five goal performance of the season.

UC Davis opened up an 8-3 lead midway through the second quarter and shut the Bonnies out in the third quarter. 

Leading by six in the fourth quarter, UC Davis began to loosen up, allowing four Bonnie goals in the final frame. The lead proved comeback safe though, and the Aggies walked away with a 13-9 win.

ABOUT THE WILDCATS
Davidson College enters Sunday's game 3-2 on the season, with a 10-17 loss in their most recent game to Mercer.

Jenna Skibbe leads the Wildcats in scoring, with 18 goals on the season, while Riley Cochrane leads the team in points with 10 goals and nine assists. Josie Lambert has 13 goals on nearly 60% shooting from the field. In the goal, Paige Doyle is good for about eight saves a game, with 38 so far on the season.

Davidson finished third in the Atlantic 10 last season, going 6-3 in conference play and 12-6 overall.
