DAVIS, Calif. — UC Davis wrapped up the Amer Ari Invitational in 18th place, propelled by a strong final round of -13 as a team and a total of 25 birdies during day three.

DAY THREE
The team was led all weekend by Lucas Carper, who shot a brilliant 69, three strokes under par. He ended up tied for 69th place individually.

Westberg had a balanced round as well but instead used a strong last few holes to propel his four under par performance. With five total birdies, he used three straight birdies on his 15th, 16th, and 17th holes of the day to catapult him up the leaderboard. He finished tied for 78th place individually.

Mark Stephens and Treed Huang rounded out the team's performance, with scores of 70 and 74, respectively. Stephens finished the Amer Ari Invitational tied for 97th while Huang rounded out the Aggie lineup in 115th place.

Leo Metzger also emerged as a standout performer for the Aggies on day two, tying for a team-high 70 alongside Jacob Westberg. After an initial round of 73, he used six birdies today to continue to lead the Aggies in that department. Westberg was completely dialed in on the course, coming through with a team-high seven birdies today, highlighted by three straight on holes 1-3.
