HOW IT HAPPENED (MEN): The Aggies worked their usual magic in Riverside today, a serious group effort being testament to their third place team finish.

Junior
Ethan Brooks headlined the men's group, coming in at fourth place with a time of 23:56.7, just five seconds shy of the first place winner.

Muhammed Ahmed broke top ten with an eighth place finish, sporting a 24:02.0 time. Armored with top ten finishes, Brooks and Ahmed have secured their spots on the All-Big West Team; recognizing their exceptional individual performances.

It's a run of the juniors,
Chris Coles came in 18th with a 24:21.8 and
Michael Cooper sits at 20 with a 24:25.9 to make it four Aggies in the top spots.

HOW IT HAPPENED (WOMEN): The Aggies had a strong showing all-around to be able to place second in conference, which meant that every runner mattered and pushed themselves to the extremes.

Senior Maddie Kackley came up on top for the Aggies with an incredible race and a third place finish, topping her previous and breaking twenty with a 19:51.1 time.

Dani Barrett wasn't far behind, coming in fourth to also sport an impressive PR run of 19:53.6 to secure her spot in the top five. Kackley and Barrett also lasso the All-Big West Team accolades for their amazing top ten finishes.Â

Junior
Kayla Rutz also led a pack of Aggies into the early twenties, her time of 20:48.6 was good for a 20th place spot. Fellow junior
Hope Bergmark and freshmen
Lauren Villegas and
Fiona McGrath were 21-23 in the race as well, sticking together being a crucial part of success in today's 6k race.

UP NEXT: The Aggies have a bit of time to recoup, then it's off to the races again and taking an even bigger stage for the NCAA West Regionals on November 15th in Colfax, Washington.
