The Short Story: Both the men's and women's squads pushed the limits today at the Bronco Invitational, topping the charts and coming out first and second overall out of 17 competing teams.

HOW IT HAPPENED (MEN): With tremendous individual efforts from the men's group, the Ags pulled away with a total score of 44, broadening a 28 point gap between them and the second place finishers.

Muhammed Ahmed hit a new personal best as he crossed the finish line first out of 145 other runners at the Bronco Invitational to secure a top spot for Davis. Working in tandem for triumph, junior
Ethan Brooks secured second place with a new personal best as well; breaking 24 minutes.

Chris Coles also broke 24 today, placing fourth overall with his time of 23:54.7 to make himself the third Aggie in the top five seats.

HOPW IT HAPPENED (WOMEN): The women's group finished second overall after their 6k race with a score of 120, just behind Cal Poly's first place title.

Madison Kackley led the Aggie efforts on the women's side, placing third overall, just shy of six seconds from her personal record she broke at the previous Sean Earl Lakefront Invitational.

Kayla Rutz followed in at 25th with her new personal best of 21:11.0 in the 6k as well.

UP NEXT: This meet concludes the regular season for the Aggies, now they will be leveling up to the Big West Conference Championships in Riverside, California on November 2nd. Â
