UC Davis Volleyball 2023 Schedule

After a preseason tune-up against Nevada on Aug. 19, UC Davis will head to Tucson, Ariz. for a two-game road trip against two Power-5 programs. The Aggies' season opener will be on Aug. 25 against Arizona before facing North Carolina the following afternoon. This trip marks the beginning of 14 straight road games to start the season.

Pacific will play host on Aug. 29 before UC Davis heads to Provo, Utah on Sept. 1 and 2 to take on McNeese State and Brigham Young. A matchup on Sept. 4 at Idaho State will be the Aggies' final game outside of California, as they return to the Golden State for a three-game stint in Los Angeles. The first contest will take place on Sept. 8 against USC before tilts against San Diego (Sept. 9) and Marist (Sept. 10) wrap-up the Southern California road trip.

The last non-conference game of the season will see UC Davis face off against Causeway Cup rivals Sacramento State on Sept. 12 in The Nest.

Big West action will commence on the weekend of Sept. 22-23 when the Aggies will look for a pair of conference victories at Cal State Fullerton and UC Irvine. UC Davis will then head to CSU Bakersfield (Sept. 29) and CSUN (Sept. 30) before it finally returns to the friendly confines of the University Credit Union Center for the home opener on Oct. 5 against Cal Poly. UC Santa Barbara comes to Davis two days later to conclude the home-opening weekend.

The Aggies enter the bulk of their conference schedule in the middle of October where they will play four games in seven days, beginning with a two-game spell at Long Beach State (Oct. 13) and UC San Diego (Oct. 17). UC Davis hosts the reigning Big West Champions on Oct. 17 when Hawai'i comes to town and the stretch will end when the Aggies travel south to take on UC Riverside on Oct. 19.

UC Davis will enjoy six consecutive games at home, looking to build some momentum as it heads into the closing stages of the regular season. Return matchups against UC San Diego (Oct. 26) and Long Beach State (Oct. 28) kick-off the homestand before UC Irvine (Nov. 2) and Cal State Fullerton (Nov. 4) make their way to Northern California. CSUN will come to the University Credit Union Center for a mid-week game on Nov. 8 before Senior Night takes place on Nov. 11, marking the final home game of the season.

The Aggies will conclude the regular season when they have a go at UC Santa Barbara (Nov. 17) and Cal Poly (Nov. 18) before the Big West Tournament begins on Nov. 23 in Long Beach, Calif.
