LA QUINTA, CALIF.–  On Tuesday, the UC Davis men's golf team finished the second and third rounds of the Big West Championship. The Aggies finished the tournament in seventh place, after round two of the Big West Championships was suspended due to excessive winds and rendered the course unplayable on Monday. As a team UC Davis posted rounds of 296, 296 and 298 for a three round score of 26-over 890.
 
At 7:30 a.m, the Ags returned to the course to complete the second and begin the final round at 8:30 a.m.
 
Junior Mark Stephens paced for the Ags, as he tied for eighth, after showing out in round-two. In the turbulent second round, Stephens fired for his best round of the season with an incredible 8-under 64 stroke play. The junior had a stretch in which he carded five-straight holes under par. In total he sank eight-birdies and an eagle. In the final round, Stephens carded 2-over 74 and finished the Big West Championship with a three-round score of 1-under 215.
 
Alejandro Nava finished the Big West Championship tied for 24^th. In round-two the junior carded three birdies and finished 3-over 75. For the final round, Nava fired for four birdies on his way to a consecutive 3-over 75. In total, Nava posted a three-round score of 6-over 222.
 
Junior Jacob Westberg ended the tournament tied for 35^th. Westberg finished the windy second-round at 9-over 81. However, in the final-round, the junior fired for four-birdies en route to a 2-over 74. For the tournament, Westberg posted a three-round score of 12-over 228.
 
Darren Chiu concluded the Big West Championships in 41^st. Chiu carded a second-round score of 4-over 76, and carded a final-round score of 9-over 81. In total Chiu posted a three-round score of 17-over 233.
 
Junior Lucas Carper rounds out the Ags, as he finished the tournament in 42^nd. In the boisterous wind of the second round, Caper finished 15-over 87. But, he would card three birdies for 2-over 74 in the final-round and end the Big West Championship with a three-round score of 21-over 237.
