DAVIS, Calif. – UC Davis will face off against Oregon on Saturday afternoon, marking the last time the two teams will meet before they become PAC-12 opponents, as the Aggies will join the conference for the 2024 season.

LAST TIME OUT
Powered by an unbelievable seven-goal showing from sophomore Alannah Scott, UC Davis earned its third straight win by defeating Duquesne 20-13 to conclude a perfect two-game stretch in Pennsylvania.
 
The Aggies (7-3) reached the 20-goal mark for the first time in 2023 while matching a season-high 40 shots. UC Davis held a 20-17 advantage on the draw and grabbed 20 ground balls to the Dukes' 12.
 
ABOUT THE DUCKS
Oregon has struggled in 2023, posting a 3-7 overall record while going winless (0-5) in PAC-12 action. The Ducks have lost five games in a row, and six of their last seven. Oregon nearly snapped its win streak when it took Colorado to overtime on April 1, but the Buffaloes snatched the 15-14 win.
 
Gabby Cleveland and Morgan McCarthy are the Ducks' leading scorers, registering 24 and 21 goals respectively while Lauren Rismani leads the team with 14 total assists. Oregon has not settled on a starting goalkeeper as Cassidy Eckert and Paige Crowther have split time between the posts. Crowther got the nod in the most recent contest against Colorado and made 10 saves for her second double-digit haul of the year.
 
SERIES HISTORY
Oregon leads the all-time series 14-8 as the two teams meet for the 23^rd time on Saturday. However, the Aggies have won five consecutive games, including their 17-12 win over the Ducks last season.
 
ALANNAH SCOTT'S BREAKOUT GAME
Sophomore Alannah Scott exploded for seven goals in UC Davis' win over Duquesne. Her brilliant attacking display is just the 10^th time in program history a player has scored seven or more goals in a single game. The Danville native is currently third on the team with 23 goals this season.
 
WELCOME TO THE PAC
UC Davis has accepted an invitation to join Pac-12 women's lacrosse as an affiliate member no later than the 2023-24 season.
 
San Diego State will also join the Aggies as affiliate members following a recommendation by the Pac-12 Council and approval by the Pac-12 Board of Directors at a recent meeting. UC Davis played without a conference in 2022 after the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation dropped lacrosse as a sponsored sport following the 2021 season. The Aggies faced five Pac-12 opponents in 2022, posting wins over Cal and Oregon while also going 1-1 against San Diego State.
