LAST TIME OUT
UC Davis earned two victories to extend the win streak to four games before it finally came to an end on Sunday afternoon when Marquette used a big second half to down the Aggies 19-17.

UC Davis 19, Howard 1
The Aggies claimed their largest win since 2010 with a 19-1 victory over Howard University. Grace Gebhardt put on a show with a four goal hat-trick off four shots and an assist. The sophomore tallied five-total points in the win.

The Ags had considerable performances from Alannah Scott, who posted three goals and Annie Cimperman with a trifecta of goals, accompanied by a pair of assists.

UC Davis 14, American 13
UC Davis scored the first five goals for an early lead going into the second. However, the Eagles would mount a comeback throughout the second and third to take the lead going into the fourth. But, in that fourth-quarter the Ags would out-score American 5-2 and notch their fourth straight victory.

Marquette 19, UC Davis 17
Grace Gebhardt delivered an excellent performance with a career-high six goals on the day, but the Golden Eagles would slip past the Aggies to snap their win streak.

ABOUT THE OPPONENTS
Albany brings a 3-4 overall record into Wednesday's tilt, falling to No. 18 Stanford by just one goal in their last contest. Three of its four defeats come against ranked opponents (#20 Johns Hopkins, #2 Syracuse, and #18 Stanford) in what has been a challenging non-conference schedule for the Great Danes. Shonly Wallace is the team's leading scorer with 22 goals on the year while Katie Pascale and Sarah Falk have each tallied 19 on the year.

Columbia takes a 3-3 record to California pending the result of its contest against William & Mary on Tuesday afternoon. The Lions struggled in 2022 with a 2-13 record and seem to have made some positive strides this spring. Celelia Messner and Dani Falcone have each racked up double-digit goals to lead their team offensively.

SERIES HISTORY
UC Davis has only played Albany one time, and the result was a 13-11 win on neutral ground in 2018.

Similarly, the Aggies have only faced off against Columbia on one occasion, but it's the New York opponent who holds the advantage in the all-time series. The Lions came out on top in the only meeting between the two teams, taking that contest 14-13 in 2017.

GEBHARDT'S GREATNESS
Grace Gebhardt has been on a fantastic run of form, scoring 12 goals over the last three games. Her week was highlighted by a six-goal showing in Sunday's match against Marquette. She also grabbed nine draw controls on the week.

WELCOME TO THE PAC
UC Davis has accepted an invitation to join Pac-12 women's lacrosse as an affiliate member no later than the 2023-24 season.

San Diego State will also join the Aggies as affiliate members following a recommendation by the Pac-12 Council and approval by the Pac-12 Board of Directors at a recent meeting. UC Davis played without a conference in 2022 after the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation dropped lacrosse as a sponsored sport following the 2021 season. The Aggies faced five Pac-12 opponents in 2022, posting wins over Cal and Oregon while also going 1-1 against San Diego State.

NEXT UP
UC Davis heads back on the road to meet Robert Morris on March 26. First draw is scheduled for 12 p.m. in Moon Township, Penn.
