After a thrilling 19-point comeback last time out against Pepperdine, the Aggies of UC Davis will face their first road test of the season, taking on Montana and North Dakota State.

LAST TIME OUT
The UC Davis men's basketball team stunned Pepperdine Thursday night after Ty Johnson delivered a buzzer-beating layup to give the Aggies a 79-78 victory over the Waves after erasing a 19-point deficit in the second half. Johnson's heroics capped off a remarkable comeback as the junior from Chicago scored a game-high 28 points, with 24 of those points coming in the second half.

The Aggies (2-0) had two players score in double figures, led by Johnson, who poured in his 28 points on an 11-18 shooting performance from the field while also adding three steals. Elijah Pepper tacked on 24 points, shooting a perfect 2-2 from three point range. The duo combined for 52 points tonight, and 38 of the Aggies' 48 second half points. Kane Milling also added eight points, six rebounds and a game-high four steals to contribute on both ends of the court.

UC Davis forced 19 Pepperdine turnovers and used a three-plus minute stretch of limiting the Waves to no points to climb back into the ballgame.

The Aggies turned all these takeaways into 24 points on the offensive end of the floor in the game.
