Ella Brislin scored a career-high five goals and
Ashley Laing made eight saves as UC Davis defeated Oregon 17-12 on Saturday afternoon.
The win was a second celebration for the Aggies (5-5), who honored seniors
Ally Deremer,
Natalie Wilson,
Annie Dalton,
Kendall Seifert, and
Brooke Long before the game.
In addition to Brislin's big day,
Regan Arkless and Seifert had hat tricks,
Grace Gebhardt and
Natalie Wilson scored a pair each, and
Brooke Long and Brooke Togushike scored one goal apiece. Arkless' three goals were also a career-high.
Alex Agnew had a career-high six assists as she continues to ascend the UC Davis record book. Her 53 career assists are good for eighth all-time while her 29 this season are tied for third-most in a single season.
After the Ducks opened scoring at the 13:52 mark of the first quarter, UC Davis went on a streak of four straight goals before Oregon scored a pair to end the first down 4-3.
UC Davis entered the half up 10-6 and scored five unanswered in the third quarter to build a commanding 15-7 lead that Oregon could only chip away at.
The Aggies will play one more home game at UC Davis Health Stadium on April 16 against Cal before closing out the season at San Diego State and USC.
