2021: Started all 16 matches for the Aggies… Helped spearhead a defense that ranked No. 40 in the NCAA in scoring defense (11.38) and No. 11 in scoring margin (5.44)… Collected one assist on the year against California on April 22… Finished with 31 ground balls (good for second on the team behind only goalkeeper Taylor Mathieson), 46 draw controls, and 20 caused turnovers on the year… Ranked fifth in the MPSF in ground balls and draw controls and led the conference in caused turnovers… Stood 104th in the NCAA in caused turnovers per game (1.25)… Scooped up a season-high six ground balls against San Diego State on March 5, and added five more in the MPSF Championship match against Fresno State on March 1… Battled for a season-high 10 draw controls against Colorado on April 9 — tied for fourth on the school’s single-game list since 2003, and the most by an Aggie since Kate Graham had 11 against Radford in 2019… Caused a season-high three turnovers twice against California (Feb. 26) and San Diego State (March 5).
2020: Started all six matches for the Aggies during the shortened 2020 season, playing in all 360 minutes… Shared the team lead with 12 ground balls while adding six draw controls… Also finished the year tied for the team lead with seven caused turnovers, which was tied for fourth in the MPSF… Finished tied for eighth in the MPSF with 12 ground balls… Finished with a season-high four ground balls against Oregon (3/1) and grabbed three more against California (2/14)… Finished with a season-best three draw controls in the opener against Arizona State (2/8)… Caused three turnovers against the Ducks.
2019: Started all 17 contests for the Aggies… Finished with 24 ground balls, 10 draw controls, and 12 caused turnovers… Her four ground balls in the MPSF Championship match against San Diego State on April 28 were a season high… Finished with a season-high three caused turnovers against Radford (March 16).
2018: Started 9 of 12 games played... Tallied 20 ground balls with 10 caused turnovers and a draw control... Logged one assist, late in the first half to Amanda Outcalt vs. Fresno State (4/21)... Also had 3 CTs in that contest... Posted season-best 6 GBs vs. Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (2/18).
CANYON CREST ACADEMY '17: Starred in both lacrosse and basketball... Earned US Lacrosse All-America honors in 2016... Also made All-San Diego Section first team that year, thanks to 60 goals with 49 ground balls... Two-time All-Avocado League selection, twice helping Ravens reach CIF-SDS final four... Snared US Lacrosse All-Academic in 2016.
PERSONAL: Born in San Diego, Calif.... Majoring in managerial economics... Parents are Ken & Lanny Deremer... Older brother, Andrew, is a junior at UC Santa Cruz... Name is pronounced "DER-mer"... Hopes to travel to New Zealand and Indonesia.
