Cierra Hall earned a Big West Conference distinction for the fourth straight season and
Evanne Turner appeared on the conference honor roll for the second time when All-Conference teams were announced on Monday.
Sydney Burns was named to the All-Freshman team, the third time in the last four seasons that a UC Davis freshman has been named to the team. Senior
Sage Stobbart was named to the All-Conference Defensive Team after leading the Big West in blocks.
Hall was named to the 2021-22 All-Conference First Team and Turner was named an Honorable Mention. It's Hall's third straight selection after she was named to the Second Team in 2019-20 and the First Team in 2020-21. She was also named to the Big West All-Freshman Team in 2017-18.
Turner makes an appearance on the list for the first time after she was named to the 2019-20 All-Freshman Team. She averaged career-highs in points, assists, steals, and three-pointers while missing just four free throws all season. Turner was one of three Aggies to start every game this season and has yet to miss a game in her UC Davis career and led the Big West in threes per game with 2.5.
Hall wrapped up her regular season Aggie career eighth on the all-time scoring list, second in rebounds and first in career appearances. She averaged a career-highs in points per game with 15.3, rebounds per game with 8.3, assists per game with 3.7, and steals with 34. She won her third career Big West Conference Player of the Week award on Dec. 20 and finished the season ranked second in the conference in scoring, third in rebounding, third in field goal percentage, and fifth in assists.
She was the only player in the conference to rank in the top five of each of those categories.
Stobbart, second all-time in program history in blocks, led the Big West in that category by 30 and averaged over a block per game more than the next closest player. Her 52 blocks and 19 steals were both career highs. She was 42nd nationally in total blocks adn 32nd in blocks per game, now trailing only
Morgan Bertsch on the all-time list.
Burns started all 24 games she appeared in this season and finished 10th in the Big West in assists in her first season running the Aggie offense. She had a career-high six assists against Long Beach State in the final week of the season and finished in double-figures scoring four times over the course of the season.
Hall and Turner will lead the Aggies when they open the Big West Conference Tournament in Henderson, Nev. on Wednesday against Long Beach State at 8:30 p.m.
