Emmy Ersdala Competes For Sweden At FIBA U20 Women’s EuroBasket

DAVIS, Calif. —UC Davis women's basketball rising sophomore Emmy Ersdala has been named to Team Sweden's roster for the 2026 FIBA U20 Women's EuroBasket, the Swedish Basketball Federation announced.

Ersdala earned the selection after her freshman campaign with the Aggies, where she averaged 2.5 points and 2.0 rebounds per game while recording two double-digit scoring performances.

The tournament marks the second time Ersdala has represented her home country in FIBA competition. She previously competed for Team Sweden at the 2024 FIBA U18 Women's EuroBasket, averaging 10.3 points and 4.3 rebounds over seven games.

Two games into this year's tournament, Ersdala has already made an impact on both ends of the floor, logging 26 minutes while recording two steals.

The 2026 FIBA U20 Women's EuroBasket runs from July 4–12. Sweden concludes group play on Tuesday, July 7, against Germany. Fans can follow the tournament here.
