Megan Norris Continues Basketball Journey With Rutronik Stars Keltren In Germany

DAVIS, Calif. — Following a successful playing career with UC Davis women's basketball, standout player Megan Norris begins her pro career after signing a contract with Rutronik Stars Keltren in the Damen-Basketball-Bundesliga (DBBL) in Germany.

Founded in the German city of Keltren in 1981, Rutronik Stars has been one of the country's most successful clubs in the basketball scene, winning the League Two title in 2015 to make way for a promotion to top-league DBBL. Since starting play in the league, the club has gone on to win another pair of titles in 2018 and 2021.

Most recently, the team finished the 2025-26 season with a 35-5 record between club and EuroCup competition. That mark led them to become German regular season champions for the fifth time in club history and for the second year in a row.

Following a successful prep career in the Bay Area, Norris went on to rewrite the Aggie basketball record book, setting new marks in single-game, single-season, and career rebounds while also becoming the 22nd player in program history to record over 1,000 points across their career.

These accomplishments also led Norris to receive a myriad of awards throughout her senior season, including being named the Big West Player of the Week three times, becoming the first Aggie to receive a USBWA National Player of the Week award, and receiving an All-Big West First Team and Defensive Team selection.

The whole Aggie family wishes Megan the best of luck as she continues her basketball career.
