SUNNYVALE, Calif. – The UC Davis cross country team traveled to Sunnyvale for the final races of the regular season Saturday at the Bronco Invitational. The women's team were the runner-up, while the men finished ninth at Baylands Park.

In the women's invitational, the Aggies scored 110 points and were led by sophomore Brianna Weidler, who finished second with a time of 19:40.7. Junior Sierra Atkins finished 10^th with a time of 20:15.2 and junior Chloe Arriaga finished with a 20:21.7 for a 12^th place finish.
 
Sophomore Dani Barrett finished in 30^th place with a time of 20:55.5 and freshman Shae Hill rounded out the Aggies' scoring with a 21:19.7 for a 57^th place finish.
 
Freshman Maddie Coles finished in 75^th place with a time of 21:33.4. Freshman Kayla Rutz finished with a 21:44.7 time and an 87^th place finish. Junior Julia Marriott crossed the line in 101^st place with a time of 21:53.3. Newcomer Natalie Wieland posted a time of 22:00.8 to place 113^th. Junior Emma Arriaga completed the Aggies' contingent with a 123^rd place finish and a 22:12.3 time.
 
In the men's invitational, the Aggies scored 263 points and were led by sophomore Austin Vasquez, who ran the 8k course in 24:21.6 and finished 34^th overall. Junior Simon Fuller closely followed just .3 seconds behind Vasquez for a 35^th place finish. Freshman Alex Bobowski finished 42^nd with a time of 24:25.0.
 
Freshman Chris Coles crossed the line in 24:28.9 for a 49^th place finish. Junior Max Waechter completed the Aggies' scoring with a time of 25:18.3 and a 130th place showing.
 
Sophomore Johnathan Munoz finished 151^st with a time of 25:34.2. Junior Ivan Mendez finished with a time of 25:44.3 to place 162^nd. Freshman Zachary Graeber finished 174^th with a time of 25:59.6 and sophomore Dylan Gunn rounded out the Aggies' contingent with a time of 26:11.9 in 181^st.
 
The Aggies will hit the course again in two weeks at the Big West Conference Cross Country Championships in Riverside.
