DAVIS, Calif. -- Shining in competition and in the classroom, a total of 37 UC Davis student-athletes from fall sports were named to Big West Conference All-Academic Team as announced by the league office on Monday.
Â
The total continues an upward trend for Aggie student-athletes over the last six years as the 37 honorees in 2021 are six more than the 31 student-athletes named to the fall all-academic team in 2019. UC Davis had 29 award recipients in 2018, 27 more in the fall of 2017, and 26 total honorees in 2016.
Â
