DAVIS, Calif. — UC Davis has set tip times for all 31 men's and women's basketball home games at University Credit Union Center in 2026-27, a schedule that opens with a doubleheader on Nov. 2 and establishes 4 p.m. as the standard start for men's basketball Saturday home games.
Both programs open the season at home the same day, with the women's team tipping off against Jessup at 4 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 2, and the men's team following against North Alabama at 7 p.m. The Aggies will share the floor twice more during the season. On Saturday, Jan. 2, the women host Hawaiʻi at 2 p.m. and the men open Mountain West play against Grand Canyon at 5 p.m., the first conference home games for both programs. On Wednesday, Feb. 3, the women meet Air Force at 4:30 p.m. before the men face Nevada at 7:30 p.m. on FS1.
Four of the men's five Saturday home dates follow the 4 p.m. standard: San José State on Jan. 16, Air Force on Feb. 6, UTEP on Feb. 13 and the regular-season home finale against New Mexico on Feb. 27. The Jan. 2 league opener against Grand Canyon, picked second in the Mountain West preseason media poll with a league-high 10 first-place votes, tips at 5 p.m. to accommodate the doubleheader. Beyond the Nov. 2 opener, weekday games tip at 6 p.m. with two exceptions. The Veterans Day matinee against Incarnate Word on Wednesday, Nov. 11, tips at 11:11 a.m., and the Feb. 3 game against Nevada, which was picked third in the preseason poll and is playing its final season under head coach Steve Alford, tips at 7:30 p.m. in the Wolf Pack's first visit to Davis since December 2013. Hawaiʻi, the reigning Big West Tournament champion, visits for a 6 p.m. tip on Tuesday, Jan. 5. The Aggies play a program record, 17 regular-season games at University Credit Union Center in head coach Jim Les' 16th season, with Les entering the year 17 wins shy of 400 for his career.
The women's team, picked third in its first Mountain West preseason poll with junior guard Avery Sussex named to the Preseason All-Mountain West team, plays 14 home games in head coach Jennifer Gross' 16th season. The Aggies, who went 23-11 and 11-3 at home a year ago on the way to a WNIT berth, host Mountain West opponents on three Saturdays at 4 p.m. (Grand Canyon on Jan. 9, San José State on Jan. 23 and New Mexico on Feb. 20) and three Wednesdays at 6 p.m. (Wyoming on Jan. 13, UTEP on Feb. 10 and UNLV on Feb. 17) before closing the home schedule against Nevada at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 2. Hawaiʻi, a Big West rival through last season and picked fourth in the preseason poll, visits at 2 p.m. on Jan. 2. Grand Canyon makes its first trip to Davis since 2004, and Wyoming, UTEP, UNLV and New Mexico each visit for the first time. The nonconference home slate includes an 11 a.m. Field Trip Day game against former Big West rival Cal State Fullerton on Thursday, Nov. 12, a year after the event drew a program-record crowd of 5,567 against Idaho, a 5 p.m. tip against Cal Baptist on Friday, Nov. 20, and 2 p.m. Sunday games against Chico State on Dec. 6 and Montana, making the trip to Davis, on Dec. 13.
The Feb. 3 Nevada game will air on FS1, representing one of the Aggies four national TV selections this season. All other men's home games stream on MW+, the Mountain West's subscription streaming service, at watch.themw.com/uc-davis, where subscriptions are $79.99 annually or $10.99 monthly and a majority of each purchase made through the UC Davis page returns to the university to support Aggie Athletics. Women's basketball home games will also stream on MW+.
