DAVIS, Calif. — The UC Davis women's lacrosse team placed a school-record 20 student-athletes on the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation All-Academic Team, the league office announced on Monday.
Student-athletes must carry a 3.0 or better cumulative grade point average, must be at least a sophomore academically, and have completed one full academic year at the institution prior to the season for which the award is received.
The 20 Aggies in 2021 surpass the previous school record of 14 set in 2019 and marked the fifth-straight season that UC Davis has posted double-digit honorees.
Seniors
Anna Belenis and
Kate Graham became four-time honorees, while seniors
Ally Deremer,
Anna Hofgard, and
Taylor Mathieson earned their third career awards. Senior
Maddie Myers and
Kaley Stunz, along with juniors
Julie Byrne,
Brooke Long,
Kendall Seifert, and
Natalie Wilson, also became multiple winners with their second career awards.
