NEWPORT HARBOR HS '17: Scored 30 goals with 29 groundballs and 15 draw controls as a senior... Voted as team's Most Improved that year... Two-time US Lacrosse All-Academic selection... Class valedictorian, earned Student of the Semester in physics and psychology; and finalist for Student of the Year in both math and science... Fun fact: Forbes magazine ranked UC Davis as its No. 1 STEM university for women... Played club ball for OC United.

PERSONAL: Born in Fountain Valley, Calif.... Majoring in physics... Parents are Kyle Bernard and Lieu Tran... One of five siblings, along with Connor, Kayla, Kaira and Anderson...
