DAVIS, Calif. — After having its match against nationally ranked Stanford postponed due to COVID concerns within the Cardinal program last weekend, the UC Davis women's lacrosse team has added a home game against another Pacific-12 Conference opponent in Colorado on Friday (April 9) at 2 p.m. at UC Davis Health Stadium.
The Buffaloes were originally scheduled to take on both Bay Area schools this coming weekend, but were left without a game following the cancellation of their match against Stanford.
UC Davis and Colorado have met on four other occasions, but not since the Buffaloes posted an 18-5 victory over the Aggies in Boulder back in 2017. The two teams last met in Northern California in 2016, with Colorado posting a 14-3 victory.
The Aggies enter the week with a 7-3 overall record and winners of their last two following victories over Coastal Carolina (17-6) and California (12-10) — the latter coming in their first home game since Feb. 21.
With Yolo County moving into the orange "Moderate" tier on March 24, UC Davis athletics was granted permission to allow fans into UC Davis Health Stadium for all remaining home women's lacrosse matches. A limited number of free tickets are available to the general public via the tickets page at
UCDavisAggies.com beginning at 10 a.m. on Wednesday (April 7), while UC Davis students can claim their tickets using their UC Davis email address and student ID number at
GoAgsPromo.com along with the code "UCDSTUDENT".
Per state guidelines, tickets are available for California residents only and must be redeemed in advance of the game online. All seating is reserved and no tickets will be available at the gate the day of the game.
