Junior scholar-athlete moves into school's all-time top 10 for 1,500 meters

STANFORD, Calif. -- Junior Ryman Crone moved himself into seventh in the UC Davis outdoor track & field record book with his time of three minutes, 47.69 seconds in the men's 1,500 meters, highlighting a small crew of Aggie middle distance runners competing on Day 2 of the Stanford Invitational Saturday.

Crone's time was good for fourth place in the field, 10 places ahead of teammate Nicholas Brichta (4:00.01).
